Our Story

Matt and I are the owners and founders of the Great Hall of Royal. We were delighted at the opportunity to take this amazing building (the former St. Louis Church) and revamp it into the venue we all know and love! To start with such an amazing architecture and then be able to re-imagine the extensive spaces into the beautiful backdrop for your wedding was truly a labor of love! Northwest Iowa offers some of the prettiest seasons - and we love that our venue lets you enjoy each of them inside and out with wedding space options and picturesque spots that you and your photographer will love!
